There are two distinct programs offered for Springfield youth basketball players, Recreation and Travel. 

The Travel program offers players an opportunity to try out for one of our grade appropriate, highly competitive basketball teams. The girls “Nettes” and boys “Minutemen” teams have a long and strong tradition of excellence in the NJ Basketball circuit. Our teams compete in the Jersey Basketball League (JBL) which hosts over 400 teams in northern and central NJ. 

If invited to play on a travel team, players are expected to attend 2-3 practices and/or games per week from November to March.
